I posted a series of tweets by Matt Bowen on the old site about it.  But here is the main one.




Matt Bowen constantly is correcting people on Twitter on how to properly defend the pass.  Fans always want the DB to turn and make a play on the ball and I've been guilty of it myself.  After listening to Matt talk about how DBs are taught to properly defend the pass I have a better understanding.

I really feel this is a major problem with all fans.  We all think we know way more about football than we actually do.  We really have no idea what the proper technique is for a lot of things in football.  I'm guilty of it myself.  I only played football in high school so what do I know.
