way to early to do any kind of draft stuff. season just started this weekend for the Big 10, and w/the weird compressed season it's going to be a weird year, especially for a position like QB.

Exactly what I was talking about in the shout box. Overdrafting and reaching on QBs is something I hope we avoid. If there is a target Nagy is 100% sold on to be his next guy and the choice is clear and there, go ahead, but man ... Wilson's resume and game isn't first round stuff.

Mahomes was consider to be a 2nd round QB at best yet the Chiefs reached for him and got a future hall of famer. We ain't ever going to compete in the NFL long term if we don't get at least an average NFL QB.

Nah, man. He was a lot of guys firsts, we had some pretty big fans I know from DBZ in on him, hard. He was always going to go high.

LMAO
Barring injury, Wilson WILL DEFINITELY GO 1ST ROUND. And easily worth it. Jordan Love went #26 this year and I'd run to the podium for Wilson if he made it to 26. Especially if I had Foles for him to learn from his 1st year before taking over.
Yes, you are right that QBs get overdrafted but the Bears don't exactly "reach" on QBs. In fact, I'd wish our GM would "reach" quite a bit more--he's drafted ONE QB in 6 years for a franchise that has never had a franchise QB. Holy Freakin Shit, I want Pace to draft TWO QBs in 2021 considering that at least 2, and maybe all 3, of our current QBs won't be here next year.

I'd go OT in round 1 and then QB in round 2. Definitely the needs trump the BPA theory this year. Maybe BPA in the 3rd. I will wait until after week 8 to throw sh** at the wall.

Doesn't mean you don't attempt to draft one.
Where did i say dont draft one; how did you get that out of, way to early for this, especially in a non standard year, especially at a position like qb? Nothing in that statement says dint draft one.
