The title pretty much sums it up (13 days or just under 2 weeks until the deadline on 3 Nov - Ric, JABF, or Alex can you sticky?). I found a good article where I will pull out the most obvious targets and then ask what you think (But only list the highest priority which is Oline). The big issue is giving up draft capital for Pace´s past failures to address key aspects of specific phases of the team. As we all know the unit with the biggest and most glaring holes is the offense. The Oline in particular has been a shambles with the run game now sputtering and headed in a downward spiral since game 3. Losing Daniels was a massive blow and inserting Coward to me was an act of desperation. I would have stayed with Bars but it is what it is. There are a couple of stop gap yargets and 1 long term target who will be expensive but under control until 2022.
Away we go!!
Priority 1 - Oline and LG
Candidates:
Zach Fulton (Texans) - I thought the Homewood-Flossmoor alum made a lot of sense for the Bears back when he was a free agent in 2018, before the Bears drafted Daniels. He started at right guard, left guard and center from 2014-2017 with the Kansas City Chiefs, so Matt Nagy knows his skillset well. His versatility would be important – the Bears’ backup center, with Daniels out, is former undrafted free agent Sam Mustipher – and while he’s played right guard in Houston, he should have an easier transition to the left side than others (like Coward) based on his experience.
Fulton, 28, only carries $750,000 of dead cap into 2021, the final year of his four-year contract and would not cost much in 2020. The Bears could, next year, decide between re-signing Ifedi and keeping Fulton when Daniels come back.
If the pick-strapped Texans are wiling to part with him, he makes a ton of sense for the Bears to go get for a mid-to-late-round pick or two.

*** My thoughts *** If he is really good then maybe our 5th this year and 4th the next year.
Zeitler is hands-down the best guard who could possibly be available, as long as Dave Gettleman is willing to part with an offensive lineman who’s blocking for second-year QB Daniel Jones. The 30-year-old has two years left on his contract and carries some hefty cap hits, though his $2.5 million dead cap figure in 2021 would make it easier to release him if the Bears needed to shed salary.
There’s no question Zeitler would dramatically improve the Bears’ offensive line, but it’d be about as big of a win-now, all-in move as Pace could make. Is he willing to do that? It doesn't feel likely, but it's hard to completely rule anything out after this front office traded for Khalil Mack two years ago.

*** My thoughts *** Maybe a 3rd in 2022?) Would the Jets bite? Hard to say but they are going no where so it might be worth a shot
Andrew Norwell is a tier above either of these guards and there are rumors that he may be made available but the CAP and draft capital cost would be too high.
The article goes on to list WR as 2nd priority and DT as 3rd priority. At the moment I see the combination of John Jenkins and Mario Edwards doing well on the line so I wouldn´t make it a priority. I think if we absolutely need an upgrade and have to burn draft capital and some CAP the Oline makes the most sense.
Thoughts? Can we consolidate all rumors and articles here?
