Camp really hasn't begun yet as far as regular practices. This is from Larry Mayer:
LINK ... the Bears and other NFL teams will be allowed to begin to stage regular practices, the agreement between the league and the NFL Players Association permits teams to conduct non-contact practices next Friday, Aug. 14 and Sunday, Aug. 16, with padded workouts set to begin on Monday, Aug. 17. In terms of contact, teams are allowed to hold 14 padded practices from Aug. 17-Sept. 6. Bears coach Matt Nagy has said that he plans to employ live drills during those workouts to replicate game-like conditions. But we'll have to wait and see how often those occur.
I'm thinking we won't get much real news this year with the camp closed to the public, and preseason canceled. It's all so boring right now. The Bears articles that do come out now are just re-hashed garbage for the most part. Countless articles of "Captain Obvious" stuff. It's just a rough year for everyone, including the fans.
I am thankful for YouTube these past few months because I've been watching old football games a lot (both college and NFL) and it's been pretty fun. Regarding the college games, I've stumbled upon some extremely entertaining games. I grew up a Notre Dame fan but really had not watched their games for a number of years. I went back and watched their unbeated national championship season (1988) and that was fun. 1992 and 1993 games are pretty entertaining too. But YouTube is a gold mine for all college games... you can find a treasure-trove of games to watch. LOL, each night my wife goes to bed early & me and the two cats stay up to watch football. They're football cats for sure :-)
