Should I do what others do and blindly pretend Trubisky isn't the problem with this team?
Others here recognize there were SEVERALPROBLEM'S, plural...as in many, with this team, not just one.
Qb is high but not even the highest. Unless you have an all world qb a bad OL and 1 reliable target and no run game is the deathnail of an O and a team. If miller has learned you cannot freelance and can stay healthy and Graham and Kmet can even help the TEs resemble average TEs and they figure out RG and the rest of the OL issues last year(iI dont think it was a talent issue) and one other wr step up, and either tru or foles play better then tru in 18 the O can look legit, IF Nagy uses the RBS to keep teams honest
LOL, gotta admit I've thought of that. Draft the guy and hand him off to John Fox & The Logg... surround him with poor talent... top it all off with some suspect play-calling. And in spite of all of that we somehow won 12 games with him in 2018 before the wheels fell off the offense in 2019.
If I was a college QB and heard my name called by the Bears in the draft, I'd crap my pants right there. You're a "dead man walking" from draft day onward. At least that's been pretty much the case for the past 50 years or so. I'm not making excuses for Mitch. He's been part of the problem too. No question. But holy moley what a clown show the Bears have been on offense most years.

Of the three drafted there is a reason the Bears were the first ones that got to pick and the only ones in the top 5, they were by far the worst, and most incomplete team of the 3. They did nothing to set up their rookie qb for success. Hou/KC both had their O in place, and had at least SOME talent, if not a literal shit ton around the qb year 1; KC 2nd year to b/c they let him sit, something I still profess is the best course, recent ie still playing: Brady/Rogers/Mahomes/Brees/Romo the list of the top of the list greats, minus romo, is getting long).
Watson maybe survives here, more likely that Mahomes struggles here, not Tru bad, no way he looks like he looks in KC.
I being a bit of a Deadhead ⚡I always thought it was Mountains on the Moon but now I know. 😁
Comes a Time, We got to make it somehow on the dreams we still believe.
Here is a MOTM Mountains of the Moon I thought was appropriate, strange setting but appropriate as the video starts with Jerry talking to Hugh Hefner from Illinois.
Worst thing you can do is ask to be thrown something on a boat. Did that on just a small lake while we were tooling around, ended up having my wallet w/150.00, all my id's and CC's go overboard and sunk in the wake.

When I was a young boy my family would camp by a lake up in Wisconsin. It was on a small farm my great aunt and uncle had with part of the field bordering on a decent fishing lake... so we could camp there for free each year. We'd go there every summer for a week of fishing. We had a small fishing boat. One year I lost my glasses overboard and it was crazy because the next year I was fishing that same spot and reeled in my glasses! I couldn't believe it. It was a 1-in-a-million thing. They were all algae covered and muddy. But other than that they were fine :-)
