Hope you all have a great Memorial Day Weekend!!!!!!!

It is a good time to reflect upon the countless people who have died to preserve our freedoms.  Maybe we can best honor them by being grateful for the blessings that we enjoy as a result of the sacrifices of others.  Not just on the battlefield but also those who help us every day in a humble life of service to others.  Maybe we can try to live our lives caring for the needs of others and just helping and encouraging one another rather than hating and tearing each other down.  We can all try to do a better job of living in harmony as best we can instead of attacking one another (even those whom we do not agree with).  Something to think about...

Do you guys have any special plans?  I'm going to be planting our flowers in our pots around the deck and yard.  It's my annual Mother's Day gift to Mrs. JABF.  She gets to pick out flowers for Mother's Day and on Memorial Day we actually get them and plant them.  I don't know why, but I am extra-excited to have the flowers growing this year. 

LOL, I just finished (yesterday) doing the dreaded annual garage cleaning.  Wow.  Why on earth do we keep the junk we keep?  LOL.  I was dazzled by some of the crazy things I've held onto over the years - and the ingenious places we had found to store the stuff :-)
