So what is your best guess as to what happens with 43 and 50? List it here for posterity, or don't, so later you can claim you were against being for the pick before Pace picked who you wanted him to pick. Ha ha ha ha.
I think he stays at 43 and takes an OL-man but trades down from 50 to add a later 2nrd and a 3rd rounder. He than takes either a WR or a S.
Pace is never predictable by me anyway. But my wild guess is that he trades down 1 of the 2 second round picks. His first pick will be safety or CB. His second pick will be a WR.
I think what JABF said above is probably gonna prove pretty accurate. If so, I hope he goes CB over S. We simply don't need to spend a 2nd round pick on a SS with what we have already invested in E Jackson. You can find decent SS's later in the draft and those guys are often available for reasonable price as vet FAs too.
I'd like to see OL-WR with our 1st two picks, and a trade-down with at least one of the 2.

We currently have 10 CBs under contract but only 5 safeties. If he really wants to take a DB w/ the first pick and a guy like Winfield Jr. is available, you take him. Just my opinion.
Honestly, there are quite a few names that I like in the 2nd rd, whether it's DB (S and CB) or OL.
I know there's probably a 0.01% this will happen, but if Jonathan Taylor is still there @43, it's a no-brainer.
Anyway, I think we'll stay put and keep #43 and then trade down. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if we traded a player during the draft, either.

Agree, I'd take him in a heartbeat.
One of our "CBs" is Stephen Denmark who at 6' 3", 220 would be an ideal SS conversion candidate IMO.

Xavier McKinney, all Alabama S crew. Like S from bama, they are smart.

It will be the Bears year 1 of what will be looked back on in in 2030 as a new direction and wise annual draft tradition of the Chicago Bears. To pick a Quarterback in the Draft every season. Not a prediction I would wager a bet on.

I could see Pace going QB with one of the next 3 picks. We grabbed Glennon and then drafted Biscuit.. sign Foles and grab..Fromm?? Super curious.. today finally feels like draft day. Yesterday was a party I wasn't invited to
