I would trade our 50th overall pick for OJ Howard, 76th overall pick ( Their 3rd round pick ), and 161 overall pick (Their 5th round pick).
Yikes!
That values Howard at 164 draft points which is roughly a mid-3rd round draft pick (#85). That's a terrible deal for a 1 year rental. Especially considering he scored a grand total of 1 TD last year. NO FREAKIN WAY I make that trade.
I'd offer Tampa a 6th round pick and walk away if they say no.
Fact is, even if he is a one year rental, Howard would in all likelihood bring in at least a fourth round comp pick. AND we’d add an extra pick!? I’d make that deal in a heartbeat.

If Howard has a poor or injured season in 2020 he wouldn't bring in at least a 4th round comp pick. And it also depends on what FAs the Bears sign next year.
Even if there was a good comp pick, it wouldn't be until the 2022 draft after a 1 year rental.
Everyone is in love with Howard's eye-popping athleticism numbers but this is a guy who's averaged ~ 30 recs/475 yards/4 TDs over his career so far. Its solid but not like he's been completely tearing up the league.

Dude...check out his average yards per reception. He's been up with the best in the league since his rookie year in yards per catch!
2019: 13.5 YPC, Jared Cook had an average of 16.4
2018: 16.6 YPC(best in the league), Mark Andrews was next closest with 16.2, Kittle with 15.6
2017: 16.6 YPC(best in the league), Garret Celek next with 16.0, Gronk with 15.7
Don't discount him because he didn't get the usage he should have.

I did notice his YPC was high and yes i agree the way he was used in Tampa might be a factor

Ifs and buts, man. Cant play football GM and be scared of injuries, that's the nature of the beast. Again, in all likelihood, he will bring a good comp pick.
