Ryan Pace just announced we ended up with 8 picks in the upcoming draft including the first Bears comp picks in 11 seasons, going back to when Jerry Angelo was GM. In addition to their own picks in Rounds 2, 6 and 7, the Bears received Oakland’s second-rounder in the Mack deal and Philadelphia’s sixth-rounder for dealing Jordan Howard last spring. The comp pick is a 4th round pick.
It will be interesting to see what he can do with these 8 picks. It will also be interesting to see how the Bears roster talent ends up in comparison to the rosters end up with our NFCN competition. The Packers and Vikes have a lot of existing talent and will build on the strong foundations they have already built in 2019. If the Vikings can upgrade that OL, I think they will be a tough team this year. The Packers seem to be a team that needs to take advantage of having Aaron Rodgers, before that window of opportunity closes (probably sooner rather than later for his NFL career).
