So this year's narrative is that no one knows the OFF except Mitch? It must be obvious than that when he over throws, or under throws, or just doesn't see an open wr that they (the wr/te/RB) must have been in the wrong place. It's the only logical explanation when the passes are over thrown, under thrown, behind on a slant, over the RB head on a flare, thrown into double coverage, the ball handed to a RB when there are defenders waiting to cut him down instead of the QB keeping that ball. Yep, Apparently only Mitch knows the OFF. Nothing to see here. Nothing to see but a top 10 QB if only his teammates would learn the OFF.
I'm over the 2019 season. I just want Trubisky to play better or be gone. I also want Ryan Pace to do a serious upgrade of the overall offense talent. We suck at QB. We suck at TE. We suck at OL. We suck running the ball, We suck at catching the ball. It's a QB problem. It's also an offense problem. LOL, we have a lot of problems :-)
no starting quality TE talent in today's NFL, and this style of O is a deathnell; but add in 1 WR that knows the routes and a QB that is struggling in general and you end up w/a complete shitshow that was 2019.

+1
And I'm hoping that we not only add that kind of WR, but also a guy who has some speed to challenge opposing defenses. I know it's not easy finding a speed guy who can also run good routes and catch reliably. But hey, one can wish anyway :-)
nope I was told the only issue on this entire team was the QB. Have a QB and a team w/1 WR, a weak OL, and no TE's is a SB contender. Which begs to question, if Cutler was such a great qb, why didn't he ever get to one?
Yeah, if we just get a decent WR out of this deep draft then Trubisky will suddenly stop airmailing passes, screwing up reads, dirting 5 yard outs, and being unable to discern cover-3 from coveralls.
Of course, NO ONE said any of that...either my exaggerated statement or yours.
Bears certainly need more playmakers, no question. They also need QB play better than a bottom-5 starter.
MT had problems, but his WR all went through bouts of low effort, lazy play.
