You will rarely get me to say no to a qb in the draft unless we already drafted on in the previous couple years high. My problem wasn't A qb, it was a combo of no WR until the last pick and that specific qb. If you get one, get one that is at least that fits the scheme the HC wants to run. plenty of of backup qb talent in the 4th-6th rounds(things get crazy around here and I would like to see them trade back). Below are a list of qb's that could be availble, crossed out means they aren't really a scheme fit.
Tyler Huntley

Steven Montez

Shea Patterson

Bryce Perkins
thedraftnetwork.com/player/bryce-perkins/hf4bIb3IV8 skill is there, qb iq isn't. in 2-3 years could that be taught? if not, pull montez/huntley off also.
I'm realistic. I realize that most day 3 QB prospects are gonna have lots of question marks. Most will amount to nothing beyond a camp arm and maybe practice squad guy. But Pace should do it anyway. I'm hoping to draft a future QB2 for down the road, even if that's his eventual "ceiling", I think its still worth it. If you get lucky a find a Minshew type who can win a few games, you really have something of value.
ya 90% of qb's aren't going to work out, thats why they should keep drafting them. But if you are going to draft one, draft one that is a scheme fit, or at least has upside that maybe 2-3 years learning from a bench can correct. immobile, no arm at best 3rd qb isn't a guy you should be trying to snag in the draft, those guys are everywhere udfa. My main point was that it looked like Jahns wasn't trying, he was just picking names w/out researching any of them.
btw, none of this is my breakdowns, I know jack squat about college football, I'm using mostly nfl.com and if not them some other group that has done the work for me
