Yes it's way early to do this, but let's give it a try anyway. Here's mine to kick this off:
1. Bears 10-6, division title & no more of this one-and-done playoff run stuff. 2. Vikings 9-7 3. Green Bay 8-8, I predict the Bears sweep the Packers this season. My hope is that the Bears make the opener a "statement game" with Rodgers taking a physical beating... not wishing him injury, but rather just a long long game of picking himself off the turf. I think Chuck Pagano will make AR's day a living hell. 4. Detroit 7-9
I expect the Bears defense will fine under Chuck Pagano. Top-3 defense PPG allowed (they were #1 last season at 17.4 PPG allowed) I expect the offense to be a top-5 scoring offense this season (they were at #9 last season at 26.3 PPG) I expect the special teams will be solid too, and the kicking game woes will be fixed this year.
Yeah, he had both the Packers AND Vikings ranked ahead of us last year. Others had the Packers predicted to be in the Super Bowl last year too. The Packers (and Aaron Rodgers) are the darlings of the NFL. It's just the way it is. I hope the Bears just bury GB in that opener and make it a statement game. And I hope the officiating doesn't turn into a lovefest for Green Bay... I do get sick of that each year.
