Agreed. Constant repetition is the best way I know of to improve upon any weakness and hopefully Howard will get that now. I question whether or not he has in the past if the thinking was "let's just work around it". Mistakes are correctable when you have teachers who can teach and are willing to do so without hesitation.
Some fans will always be reactionaries whose opinions should never leave their own living rooms. Those opinions should never reach into NFL meeting rooms or practices where the real work gets done and no coach should use them as a yardstick by which to make decisions. Doing so will only leave him and his team as the loser.
So the coach said he needs to work on concentration and hand-eye coordination . True . But what I see is a guy who turns into a stumble bum once he puts his hands out to make the catch , and that stumbling makes his eyes and body jostle around and he doesn't track the ball smoothly ( it makes the ball look like it's bouncing up and down to him ) and he bonks the catch . He might be able to be overcome it if he can make his body " quieter " , but it's gonna take alot of reps . Alot .
