stop it already. There were many Reports of Teams liking Trubisky. Hell even the new Coach and his Team back then liked him.
Just looking at the Price Pace had to pay to get his QB and what HOU/KCC gave up, I'm happy for sure.
There was no fleecing and if Trubisky improves, many will applaud Pace for this move and many of the crying and critizicing People will come out to tell everybody they always liked this trade. I for one ALWAYS liked the trade and Trubisky was the guy I wanted most since November that Draft year.
Difference between us and Hou/KcC is that we outbid ourselves for our franchise qb while they had to trade up to get theirs.
SF came out and said they were getting other offers for the pick.
prove what you are saying and small hint, you will have Zero prove of it.
Yes, with many reports showing no other team was willing to go after Trubisky it was a horrible panic by pace. Now we're out of a 3rd round pick this year and the 49ers arguably have the better QB.
This is 100% FALSE. There are several reports out there that show AT LEAST 2 other teams were working with SF on obtaining the #2 spot and both were QB needy teams. IN FACT, we KNOW one of hose teams was Cleveland and we KNOW the QB they we’re targeting was Mitchell.

Thats simply incorrect. Further, New England was not trading Jimmy G at the time of the draft for what they traded him to San Fran for prior to the trading deadline. If the Bears had waited and attempted to trade for Jimmy G and didn't get him you'd be killing Pace for that. Sometimes I wonder why you're a Bears fan.

thanks guys for providing the Links. I thought they were shared more than enough for everybody to know it.
I still wait for the prove from the guy that initially claimed it. Bears had to go to #2 to secure their QB and that is easily worth a 3rd round pick. You don't take the risk of losing out on your QB for a 3rd round pick. That'd look stupid for sure. Pace actually made a good call and SF blew their picks a bit. They made up for getting Jimmy G.

Those are just tbe links for 49rs side. Remember that pace was also fielding calls for the 3rd spot when it was understood sf if staying was likely going to grab thomas. So 2nd and 3rd were getting calld for trades up...and no other calls were recieved to trade up to the top 3 after trubs was selected.
They gave up 2 3s and a 4(which after a trade down really ended up being 2 3s) the trade numbers were right in order with the trading up team slightly at a disadvantage which is per usual.

you won't get it if he sticks to his usual posting method. Instead, the conversation will slip to some side point and away from the original comment.
