The heck of it is, it's easy to fire Bears coaches. It's the hiring "better" coaches that are simply beyond the ability of Halas Hall to do properly. Each time we fire a coach we get a worse one. I can't imagine how bad the next one will be. Fisher would probably fit the bill there tho. We could cement the title, "Cleveland Browns of the NFC" title with him here. It's in the bag.
I’ve been a Bears fan since I was a little kid and I must say if Pace hires Fisher, who is nothing more than an average coach with a slightly above .500 career record, that may very well be the end for me.....

The "brain trust" at Halas Hall better not be entertaining the thought of Jeff Fisher as the next head coach...but these guys are the masters of shooting themselves in the foot.

Generalist - Dave Toub
College - David Shaw
Hopefully all three will both have an interest and will be interviewed.
Carmichael thoughts? Bears brought him in before Trestman
To be honest Tragic I'm not too happy at all with Pace making the Bears NOLA North plus Carmichael has been working with a very experienced and very good vet QB so to me how does this differ from Focks and his OCs in Denver when Manning was here?
Reich as had to bootstrap an offense up for Wentz and coach him up to an NFL level passer. So I guess I have a stronger gut feel for Reich and his QB coach DeFilippo as his OC. But I admit it's little more than gut feeling. My preference is actually stronger for Toub and Shaw.

so i like Carmichael because as he was given play calling duties, power increased, he had more success. i would be happy with Toub and amazed/stoke if we could land the Eagles OC. Don't know enough about the college guy.
