I want Fox fired as the next guy, however, who do you want as the Interim Head Coach? I know that Fangio wants doesn't want it. Want to see Frodo as the Interim Head Coach?
Regardless of if Pace has, or doesn't have, the ability to fire Fox...if, as an organization, they are not fed up with this bush league coaching and low PPG then **** them all.
Since I know the path they will take....It's been fun chatting with you guys, but there's only so much a person can take and i've hit that wall as a fan lol
I will cheer quietly in the shadows, but they won't get another dime out of my pocket. Thanks for the memories!
You outta stick around, just for the people here, not for the Bears. That's my plan. I haven't watched a Bears game in weeks... I don't hate 'em, I just don't waste my time watching the painful crapfests. But I do enjoy the camaraderie here with people. If nothing else we can "share the pain" of being Bears fans. Maybe we're crazy but we can be crazy together :-)
That's my plan as well. We've all been through this before. If we all lived in the same town we'd be crying in our beers at some local gin mill where we all hang out. But we don't all live in the same town.....or even the same country. Hi, Alex, British Bears Fan, Ojibiway Bob, Malaga Bear.....did I miss anyone?
So this is where we all hang out and we have to draw our own beers at home and at the moment this team isn't worth spending any anger and frustration on. If we ALL didn't know that one more year under Focks wasn't gonna change anything we should have and so should those who allowed him to coach again this season.
So.....get angry at them. I'm saying write spitting mad letters to Halas Hall addressed to Phillips and the McCaskeys angry. That's also my plan. If we want true change the only guys who can provide it are those who own and operate this POS they call an NFL team. Get madder than hell at them for lying to us all and subjecting fans to another season of this.
It's probably good that I don't live in Chicago because I would do my damndest to get into the year end presser we know is coming and tear GMcC a new asshole so badly I'm sure I'd get carted off to the Cook County Jail and one of you guys would need to come down and bail me out. **** Focks. Phillips, GMcC,and Pace are the trio who deserve our scorn now.

I am not going anywhere!!
I saw what was happening in this game yesterday from the get go. As soon as Fox had the lead you can see him take of his off of the gas and coast. I actually was laughing at the end of the game. Good for Gould and Jimmy G, I actually feel good about the game. As for watching games still? I feel bad if I don't watch them. I was playing games yesterday for the first hour but had to switch it over and I am still paying for Dazn to view tha games.
I will continue to watch BUT will not out of my way either.

yeah. I've never understood that ultraconservative approach. Get ahead then go to the ground game to protect the ball. Well, someone needs to tell Foxhole that turnovers happen in the run game also. Plus, this team does not have the firepower to switch gears again to the passing game and retake the lead in a short time.
I respect the teams that get ahead, put their foot on your throat and do NOT let up. You got ahead a certain way, and you continue to play that way til the end of the game. This old school stuff is fine. But you have to be flexible enough to change things with the dynamics of the situation. He has shown himself incapable of doing that. He has his way of doing it and if he has had success at least once, then that's his way. period. You see it with moving to a running game when he gets ahead. You see him preferring a running game to a passing game because he has won games that way. But all games are different and today there are more fast striking passing teams. He needs to understand that and keep up, but he does not. All I have to say is that I wish him luck whatever he does after he leaves here, but I just want him to leave here.

Bottom line is this, your team scores 2 TD's, opposition none and you still lose. Well, isnt that just...

He scores so few points that he is one of the few coaches that has that ability to lose a game when the opponent has not scored a touchdown. The man can find a way to lose in almost any circumstance.

It's a gift the man has, BIH. We should be thankful we have had a franchise that the McCaskey family, has filled with these genius coaches over the past decades. Not every team can find 'em. Well, the Browns do pretty well over the years, but we are "close" behind them. And remember. Being "close" is what it is all about. And our team ALWAYS has "good practices" going back to the Trestman years. Our coaches are just ahead of their time, and us mere mortals fail to see the genius in them. We are so "unworthy" of these fine HCs.

lol.... If it wan't happening to us, it would be funny.
Pace is in serious jeopardy here. He needs to get this right.
