What's always bothered me about Kyle Long's injury is it was one of our own guys who caused it. It's all just so par for the course with this outfit. If Fox isn't shooting himself and the team in the foot with his personnel decisions and ridiculous game plans the entire teams lack of coordination is astounding. At times they look the like the Keystone Cops playing football. That lack of precision and discipline comes down to poor coaching.
Bears safety Quintin Demps suffers broken arm in Week 3 OT win vs. Steelers By: Bryan Perez | 1 hour ago
Next Up Four takeaways from the Bengals' 27-24 overtime loss to the Packers
The Chicago Bears won an overtime thriller in Week 3 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but lost another key defensive starter along the way.
Safety Quintin Demps left with an arm injury after attempting to tackle RB Le’Veon Bell late in the game. Coach John Fox confirmed Monday Demps will miss time after suffering what amounted to a broken arm.
Bears defenders continue dropping like flies. Demps is the second key starter lost in only three games. Jerrell Freeman, one of the best all-around inside linebackers in the NFL, was lost for the season after tearing his pectoral muscle in the opener.
Demps will be replaced in the lineup by Adrian Amos, a once-promising fifth-round pick who lost his starting job to Eddie Jackson in the preseason.
Amos isn’t the playmaker that Demps has been throughout his career, but he’s a physical run defender who will provide Chicago with competent play during Demps’ absence.

There’s been no timetable set for Demps’ return.
I don't think Demps has played as advertised. That and Amos being prime backup, lowend starter material, will make Demps injury easier to overcome. On that note... WTF is up with our injury luck!!!! Can't out train a broken bone but Fu$%.
