Here's a question : if a team wants one of the guys on your PS , can he refuse to go ?
- sure most guys would probably want to go knowing they have to be put on the new teams active roster , but they can also be cut a week later right ? and if a guy was looking further down the road and believed he was progressing towards the active roster , and thought it was his best move ( long term ) to show loyalty and stay , can he ?
As long as the player is moved to the Bears active roster they normally will sign w/the other team.
But as the above stated, it seems the player can choose not to. In this instance i don't blame a RB for not signing w/the Bears, who have a roster full of RB's and the team you are on is their first opponent.

Chuck and Ric have already answered but I'll also confirm it. Yes, he can refuse to leave.
Any player signed off of a PS roster must be put on the signing teams active roster immediately. Since there's such a huge difference in salary between the PS minimum of $6900 per week and the rookie minimum of $525,000 per year or $38,812.50 per game few would turn that kind of pay increase down plus have an opportunity to play in actual games.
However, a team can elect to play a PS more than the minimum as an inducement not to sign elsewhere but they must include that figure in their salary cap. This is just one reason why teams choose to carry a salary cap excess throughout the regular season.
Who cares? Bostic sucks and Lee has shown nothing other being "just a guy".
Yeah I'm more than happy to see the Lions sign those we've upgraded from. It shows whose actually making better progress rebuilding their roster. Looking over those 2014 and 2015 final roster JABF posted there's a few more I'd be glad to see them sign as well.
Bostic should write a book titled "How To Profit From Doing Nothing". The guy had massive potential coming into the NFL and has allowed himself to become a massive bust.

I like massive busts
