OK, since I've been in absentee for nearly 9 months from DaBears I would purely love it if you guys would bring me up to date about what's really been going on there and who the real baddies are and their sycophant fan boys.

Yesterday I lobbed a coupling of salvos at HHM including insulting his momma and Grimson for his fundamental lack of a functional brain at even a Neanderthal level and I may not be done with that bunch quite yet. I still have a bit more in store for the white trash two.

The nice thing about it is what are they gonna do with me? HHM and Grimson can insult me back if they like but if I'm not there to read it anyway that's like pissin' in the wind. I suppose they could reports me and those two nutless wonders Rick has moderating and Loki could threaten to ban me but then how much of an impact would that have on me. I'm never on there anyway and don't plan to be.

It's like revoking my drivers license after I've already sold my car.

I'm just curious and need to hear some perspective from you guys to add to my own about how things ever got that out of control there because they sure as hell never did years ago when guys like me and Kegger, Bear Stuff and Bear Claws were moderating that forum. Those asswipes who are f-ing it up for everyone wouldn't have lasted a week.

So, lay it on me gang. I'm all ears......... Well that and an 8" di.....oh wait. Can we post that shit here?

Hey Soul how's it going man.

First there are like 2 guys that when they want to can talk football and bring something of value, HHM and Mongo; the rest really are useless, it's like they are just there to derail and play backup for whatever HHM is saying, wants to derail. Grim can talk football but he's just bad at keeping on track. Mongo is honestly the best of the all of them.

Right around the end of the season, Dec/Jan a bunch of CCS rejects got w/Ski and said he could up his traffic a lot if there were a lot more people posting on his site, and said they were good posters that were tired of the CCS thing. Ski said he wasn't going to ban anyone unless it was really egregious and that the core group had to expand what was acceptable on the board, especially w/it going into the offseason. The CCS folks came in and were so annoying that a several just left b/c it ruined what had started.

There were a few bans, but mostly it was left alone. Ski said the idea was to get enough traffic onto the site that he didn't have to ask money from the users(no more pay members and he actually pulled the pay membership option). But honestly I think he's lost as many people as he gained, and the quality has dropped drastically.

Honestly man it has made me long for the Cutler wars you and I would get into, b/c no matter what it was at least always based on football and bears talk, regardless of how different we saw it.

Alex decided he finally had enough when yet another person said he was done b/c he saw the core group losing their hangout so he decided to build his own site w/a zero troll policy and is inviting the core posters to come and get the band back together.

I'm going to make a post before the 3rd Ps game and declare I'm done with db. It's gotten to that point boys. Let them have douche, hehateme, grimson and that idiot bearden. I put them on ignore a long time ago. We should all quit the same night!

There are still some people on dabears that I enjoy talking with about the Bears. I pretty much get along with most folks. I like to talk about the Bears, but I also like to get off-topic a bit too. I just enjoy shooting the breeze with folks. I think my ideal Bears board would have fewer subforums and just allow people to have a more natural conversation in threads. Obviously it should be mostly Bears talk, but I'm not into becoming a Bears zealot. Fan yes. But I do have a life outside of being a Bears fan.

Anyway, I'm happy to be here. Hope this board takes off. Actually, I mostly hope it's just a nice, civil place where folks can relax and carry on some conversations. Maybe laugh a bit and enjoy our time together.

Cannot have a community withoutna natural flow allow to happen, its how you get tonknow the people in the community. But getting off topic and purposefully trolling are 2 different things.

Im with you i can roll with just about anyone bit grim and several others are beyond the pale.
