Well, Mrs. 4DaBers and I WILL be festivating tonight, so plans are in the works. She seems to be acting a little randy lately, so I'm projecting (hoping) that we start at home with a little happy hour which leads to a wardrobe change to a lil something like one of your images (I'm partial to the corset). After that, who knows and who really cares.
I like whispering a good bourbon, but I'm not really fond of Irish Whisky. However, given my German heritage, I'm pretty fond of all things beer. I haven't enjoyed a good Black and Tan in awhile, so maybe I'll go get the fixins (Guinness and Bass) a little later. Thus my salute to the fine Irish people. Don't hold it against her, but the Mrs. will NOT deviate from her wine, soooo....
I just bought myself a bottle of Jameson's Caskmates and have a few Guinness and might go out with my Wife for Dinner.
No need to say that I went to Jameson in Cork and Guinness in Dublin. At Jameson they recommend Jameson with Sprite! Guinness factory was very, very cool. Still have my leather wallet I bought there.

Seriously?! Well, if the people that MAKE the stuff recommend it, I may have to give it a try tonight. I'm usually a "straight up" kinda guy, but I'm always willing to try something new.

They really do. In fact, at the end of our tour they gave us Jack & Coke and Jameson & Sprite, so we could see the difference. Love it

Jameson and Ginger Ale! Omg it's the best. If I hadn't given up carbonated soda's that was quickly becoming my favorite drink.

I hate Jack, just tasting it makes me want to vomit.

I must admit, of these 'mainstream' whiskeys Jack is my no.1 and Jameson no.2
I always preferred 100 proof Southern Comfort for a whiskey, and then Jameson. Now that I've grown up, i have Jameson as my #1 and my #2 is Bushmills Honey Whiskey.
I've really started to stear away from whiskey's though and moved into bourbons.
