The Bears have their highest draft pick in, forever, and there isn't an obvious pick there for them. This sucks.
I think there is...but some fans might feel like they are "reaches". I think any of Watson/Kizer/Trubisky is a pick they should make, I think Jamal Adams would be an obvious pick, I think Hooker or Lattimore would be obvious picks.
If the Bears feel like one of the QBs in this draft is one who will be a solid franchise QB for us, then I have zero problem with them using that #3 pick - even if people feel it's a reach. It's not a reach if it solves our QB woes of the past 30 years. That guy is worth his weight in pure gold.
With Allen no longer a good option I put Adams and Lattimore at the top for me. I'm fine if they take a QB but I don't think any of them are the best option there.
Mike Williams won't run the 40 at the combine, and instead run it at his pro day...which will definitely produce better numbers for him. Aside from it giving him longer to train for it, it will likely be hand timed, which is always faster than electric.
Bears have meetings with Kizer, and Kaaya tonight. They have basically sat down with every QB who has a round 1 or 2 grade...and yet some think they aren't drafting a QB.
