Everyone, it is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you. Brad Sowell has been released from the Bears this afternoon .
Vaughters is on the active roster in his place.
While it is not the first time, or the second, or even the third, it undoubtedly will not be the last time he is released. So sit back, and await news of his eventual resigning with the Bears.
Yes! This is the most interesting the Bears keep doing. I've lowered my goals from the Bears in the playoffs to hoping Brad catches a TD this season.
+1
I've slightly lowered my expectations for this season too. I've gone from expecting a Super Bowl appearance to now expecting several more Sowell signings (hoping he sets a new franchise signing record). Exciting!!!!
And if Brad could possibly set an all time NFL signing record, then I'm hoping they can honor him at halftime at the Super Bowl (hmmmm... maybe there is a great Super Bowl commercial in all of this too... one can hope anyway).

Ya gotta think that maybe Sowell can pitch the ball a few yards forward with a bit of accuracy? Like a type of wildcat play but direct snap to the TE/OL hybrid known as Sowell. Will be the rage for years to come.
