Pace and Nagy are both probably identifying the Bears kicker problem as the weak link that can kill our season prematurely. I believe they thought the problem had been fixed (I did too) but then Parkey turned to crap on them.

After that comment about the commute to Soldier Field, this guy will forever be grouped with Curtis pEnis and Cedric Bumson in my mind. Three worthless wastes of roster space. So glad he's gone, and I can't wait to see the competition this year.

Robbie Gould is building a new home in Chicago area

While the Bears continue to set up a massive kicking competition to see who will be sending balls through the uprights this September for the Bears, Bears’ fans everywhere are still hoping Robbie Gould finds his way back to the Windy City.

Gould’s heart is in Chicago and it’s clearly where he wants to be, but of course, we still have no idea if Ryan Pace is at all interested in bringing Gould back here.

We know Gould is playing hardball with the San Francisco 49ers and have told them he will no longer negotiate a long-term deal with them.

It’ll be curious to see how the 49ers play this out, but as of right now, the Bears are focused on the eight (yes, eight) kickers they have and hoping one emerges as a clear-cut favorite to win the job in Chicago.

The chance for Gould still probably exists to a degree, but Bears’ fans shouldn’t hold their breath.

That's been happening for awhile JABF, it sounds like his family is still here, his plan is always to live here after football. Most reports are his primary issue is he doesn't like SF culture(not the only one from the sounds of it) and also wants to be closer to Chicago(doesn't have to be Chi-town)

Yeah, that article says he talked about the new home earlier in the year.
