If there was ever a time for Pace (and his scouting staff) to really burn the midnight oil and pull off a totally BPA draft strategy, this year is it.
In every draft there are good solid players who seem to fall for relatively trivial reasons. We need to get one of those at almost every round this year. We need at least 2 more Tariq Cohen's, DeAndre Houston-Carson's, etc. Not those specific types of player but guys who make a similar impact on the team.
I really don't care about the position because we just need to keep getting better. As long as we do that we will keep pace with the NFL and hopefully improve overall as a team.

I agree, and I'm also pretty confident Pace will bring in some quality talent this year for Nagy. While having high draft picks is great, it is also important to have a guy pulling the draft trigger who knows how to USE the picks wisely. The middle rounds of the draft have been good to Pace. Jeesh, how would you like to be a Giants fan and watch your GM spend the #6 overall pick of the draft on a backup quality QB? I'd crap.

How would like to be a Detroit fan and watch your moron GM spend the #8 overall pick on a TE?
