I realize we don't need a QB, but what if a guy would drop to the Bears and be there in rounds 3 or 4, would Pace even consider a guy who unexpectedly drops to us at QB?

The Bears could draft Kyle Orton Jr in the 4th round of the draft and we can revisit the Grossman-Orton forum wars of 2006! Nice! . That'll spice up the board.

I certainly wouldn't put it past him. He seems to like to follow BPA as closely as possible so if a "can't miss" prospect drops I have to think he'd think long and hard. I think I'd personally prefer they wait until next year when we have more picks since our depth in other areas of the roster needs some serious attention.

I don't know if I could handle another round of the Rex Addicts vs Neckbeard Army.

they did say they will go bpa. but I doubt a qb will be boa on any if their boards unless something crazy happens.

IMHO it would have to be a very special situation for that to be worthwhile this season given our limited draft picks. Next year though, with 2-3 comp picks in our pocket, I definitely want to be drafting a round 3-4 QB for sure.

I dunno. I would love to have a nice talented and reliable backup for a change, but the only QB prospect I like this year is Will Grier and there's absolutely no way in hell he's falling to rd 3 or 4.
