I think the game will come down to which offense can move the ball... Not sure what to expect from the Packers and a whole new scheme..... Guessing the Bears will have a huge advantage there...
That's a good point, but it also means the the Bears can't fully prepare for the new schemes since this is the 1st regular season game under the new coaches. You can bet the Packers will have a few (or more) surprises for the Bears since this is the 1st game showcasing a new scheme.
True, though they can look at the concepts last year from Tennessee....I just think it will be easier for the Bears to prepare for the concepts than for the Packer players to know the offense good enough against that defense... Rodgers and the young receivers being on the same page will be crucial... And I don't think the NFL allows enough practice time now... I don't see why the NFL doesn't allow classroom sessions that don't involve practice...
Well, I hope you guys can beat them this time... I don't want to see another "miracle" comeback that Rodgers did in the second half of the opener.
That was the 1st game in the Nagy system, and Trubs first game in the system too. First game of the season also, with new personnel, coaches and schemes. To go into Lambeau Field in prime time like that, I was surprised the Bears came within 1 point of a win. This opening season game in 2019 should be a hard fought game, but I feel the Bears will win. I don't expect either team to blow the other out. Close game but a Bears win. JMO.
To add to your point the Bears were very young as a team, and got much improved as the season went on... First game of the year is tough for a team with so many young players... GB is the team with all those young players and a new scheme this year..
