It's a solid deal for the Broncos, especially with the Lions giving nickel CB Justin Coleman 4 year $36M a few days ago. We'll have to see if he'll be ready for the season following the leg injury.

solid deal, and I wish we offered something like that instead of Skrine. Bryce is our baby.

The issue with Callahan going forward will be will he stay healthy. I believe the most games he has ever played in a single season in something like 13 or 14.

was Skrine healthier? not sure, i believe that was the issue with him at one point, will need to check it out.

Skrine did not play in 5 games over the last 3 seasons and Callan did not play in 12 games over the same time frame. I have no idea why these guys missed the games, I assume it is largely injury as opposed to suspensions or some other reason.

That's not more even 2 million more per year than Skrine. Meh, I'd have kept the continuity in the backfield, but maybe he made it known he wanted to go with Fangio. Or they are worried about the leg.

its just that Bryce was our baby, our find, wish we dont lose guys like that, but we are moderately strapped and it is their pay-day

I agree. $7m AAV with 10 guaranteed seems like a very reasonable price to me. Callahan is also 2 years younger than Skrine too. Seems like a no brainer.
Only thing I can figure is that BC's foot injury may be more severe than we think. He was the "top NB" available in FA and it took days for him to get signed. All I can figure is that his injury (and injury history) scared Pace away. Its not like Skrine was way cheaper like HHCD was compared to Amos.

And if we had Jackson and Bryce we would stomp all over Eagles, 10+ score
