btw, here is where Colin Kaep can prove he's has the ability to still play at an NFL level; he walks in there and owns the league and then doesn't get a shot at an NFL gig, he's got a point. But I doubt he wants anything to do w/it.
True. He turned down a contract extension because he felt he was better and deserved more. To play in this league and not own it is a recipe for disaster for him.
So did anybody watch? I missed the games, what were they like?
I did.
Here is what I thought.
Fast paced which is a good thing. If a team scores a TD no extra point, they have to go for two. No kickoffs rule, I'm kinda mixed about it.
The only time we will be seeing a kicking game is when the team goes for a FG.
no punting?
if the game is about development, then it makes sense not to worry about the xp, unless it's far enough back to were there is a good chance he'll miss; and if thats' the case they'll just go for 2 more often anyways.

does the team just start on their 20?
Correction there is punting and field goals.
No kickoffs they start on their 25.
I believe I read there is also no onside kick. They replaced it with an onside conversion where the ball is placed on your own 25 (I think) yard line and it’s essentially 4th and 10. If you convert the 1st down you keep going. Otherwise the other team gets the ball wherever it was downed.

That is correct. Trust me, the NFL is keeping on this rule as well. If it works, the kickoff in football is gone. Usually, when the NFL makes the change, It goes down from the top to pop warner.
