Four days after the Eagles loss, one Bears fan won’t move forward.

I’m not ready to talk about Vic Fangio. I’m not ready to talk about Ed Donatell or Steve Wilks or Gregg Williams or Dick LeBeau. I’m not ready to talk about Cody Parkey or Robbie Gould. I’m not ready to talk about the draft or free agency. Four days ago our beloved Bears went home way too soon. The conversation has moved on to next year. But not for me. I’m not ready. Because it’s this year still and this year still stings. It didn’t occur to me until now, but the loss to Philly was a first for me. As it turns out, it was a first in Bears history. The loss to Philly was the first time that we won the division, were favored in the Wild Card round, and lost.

If Parkey makes the damn kick, we might not have lost Fangio. If Parkey makes the damn kick, we'd be playing a huge game TONIGHT. If Parkey makes the damn kick, I wouldn't feel like a 12-4 season and divisional championship had been squandered.
As much as it hurt to lose that way, I'm over it. I figure if I don't let things go, that I don't control, I'm just cruising for an early heart attack. LOL, Parkey missing that kick almost gave me one though :-)
