I agree with this. He does like to blitz a lot and wants his guys to tackle well. something that we are losing out on for some reason.
His is good, but I think he is mostly 4-3 and then there was an incident in New Orleans.
His base is usually 4-3...but he runs a lot of 3-3, 2-5, 3-4, etc stuff. He basically uses different personnel grouping to creates blitz packages...and with how often teams aren't in their base defense I'm not sure it's as big a deal as it used to be.
I wouldn't be mad at Greg Williams getting a look.
The AM guys were talking about Williams on The Score this morning and seemed to agree that while Williams is great as far as X's and O's, being creative/aggressive/etc. he is all about himself and that he may not fit in well with the current culture/philosophy of the team, i.e. team first. They said he'd be great on a team looking for an identity or whatever but since the Bears already have one he may not be quite right. So, take that for what you will.
