Hopefully we don't become the Jaguars of this year...
That would be quite alright...
But, Chicago has the least amount of work to do this offseason. Heck, we may go into next season with another new OC and/or new DC. So many uncertainties with the rest of the NFCN, so I think the Bears will be fine. It just hurts right now, but they'll be back.

So might the Bears. Mark Helfrich (our OC) is going under the radar in HC searches but at least on twitter his name is getting mentioned a bit. And there is a real risk we could lose Fangio.
Was one of the best seasons I've watched and I enjoyed it. This team performed beyond expectations. I thought the players that needed to step up did and that players progressed. I'm very excited for next year. Just think about how we still have the core of this team and adding more in the off season to it.
My biggest takeaway from the game was that Mitch was able to put the team in position to win at the end. That's huge.

my boss said he was sorry for the tough loss, same w/my wife and kids. I told them all i was okay with how they played this year and it was far better then I expected. It hurt, but not 1/2 as much as some of hte games/seasons in the past.
I find myself pretty content, not happy, but not angry or sad either. I certraintly wouldn't have ever felt the need to send angry tweets/death threats to a Bears player.

The people who send any angry messages to any players when they don't perform well don't deserve any respect. They are not true fans or even good human beings. I feel sorry that their lives are so terrible that a game can make them react that way. I was pretty livid right after that miss but I went and did something else right away to take my mind off it and then I was over it. I feel good today.
It sucks but lots to look forward to next year. Our D is solid and should keep getting better. Trubs exceeded expectations this year and finished with 2 outstanding games - his ceiling is sky high and I think at this point his ceiling is higher than any other QB drafted in the last few years except maybe for Mahomes. Allen Robinson will be 100% next year and he showed us why he is a legit #1. Wims. Although a very small sample size, looks like he can fill a WR spot if needed. I expect him to battle for a starting spot next year. Roquan Smiith! What else can I say dude is a stud. Shame on all of you who were upset because we took Smith over Edwards. We got the better LB so kudos to Pace for that pick. Our O-Line was solid all year. Nagy learned what Howard likes as far as rushing. I expect Howard to have a big year next year. Keeping with Howard, he doesn’t get enough credit for his pass blocking he is one of the best pass blocking RB’s in the league IMO. Lots of positives for next year!!!!!!!!
