I want to see the team win that final game. Don't care who we face in the playoffs because whomever we face will be tough to beat. Nobody is gonna roll over for an easy win then. All games will be tough. Bears will have to have their best efforts of the year in those playoff games.

We have a lot of young players who lack playoff experience. IMO SF did us a favor yesterday. We were in a playoff intensity game and it will help us next Week. I expect the Vikes to throw everything thy hve at us next week. We had better be ready.
+1,000 You don't wish for an "easy" opponent. You want the Bears to be so solid that they can beat the best in the playoffs. Hopefully we see a Bears team that simply refuses to lose... no matter what happens in those playoff games. Rise to the occasion. Be Monsters of the Midway and win.

They were talking about this game on GMF today. The thing to do is watch the scoreboard. If the Rams are blowing out the 49ers by halftime, then Nagy should pull his starters out for the second half to minimize risks of injury.
The Vikings are going to come out balls-to-the-wall in this game because they absolutely have to win it. Plus, they have home field in the game. For these two reasons, I predict the Bears will lose the game. That said, we are going to have to play them again in January, so I don’t want to give them the psychological edge of gaining momentum by thrashing Trubisky next Sunday with all our starters on the field.

A champion goes into a playoff caliber opponent's house and takes care of business. Until we do that, we are not a championship caliber team.

Regardless of how good a team is there will always be variance. The more you play a team the more there is a chance to lose. Every NFL team can beat any other NFL team if given enough chances. I don't like giving a team a 3rd opportunity to win. I know the Bears should still win it but I don't care for the match up.

In the long run, if a team wins the Super Bowl, no one says. "But look who they had to play to get there."
And remember folks. When the playoffs start, every team is 0-0.

======= That's right. I follow the Seahawks almost as closely as the Bears. I tell you, they just beat the Chiefs and proved they can compete with the Rams (losing narrowly both games). Their running game is going to keep them close and the D isn't too bad, either. Russell Wilson is having the best season of his career. They have a legit chance to knock off Rams or even the Saints. Bears just need to beat the Vikings at Soldier Field and maybe Rams or Saints get upset. Stranger things have happened.

And if we take care of business next week (and the Eagles win), we don't have to worry about it.
