So right around 50%. not great, but not worried either. young qb's tend to get better. And again, the Def SF was using was cover 2, and force the qb to dink/dunk or risk going deep where the reciever is going to be covered.
ndont buy into the hate. short passes and yac are the trends in the NFL.
+1,000 Mitch is running the offense that has been handed to him by Nagy. He is running it well for a young guy in his first year in this offense with new players around him. Ric, I also agree with the point you continue to hammer home about it taking time to accurately know what you have in a young QB:
"There are plenty of 1 year wonders, it takes years of playing to know what someone is... 3-4 years; and even at that, back to point 1, you'll never know how a player would play on other teams as they had different coaches and different players around them. Just be happy the Bears seem to have a franchise qb and that this is likely his basement, not his celing; and it's already looking better then their last several franchise qb's."
I'm glad Mitch got plenty of work today. It was not an easy place to play today and against a decent defense. One of the best traits I see in him is that he doesn't fall apart if he's struggling at times. Cutler and Grossman would come completely unraveled and fall apart in some games. Mitch seems to get a grip and settle down. I believe Nagy is responsible for helping Trubisky in this area, but also & equally important, Mitch seems very coachable - he listens and learns.

It was great to see him go down or slid before he gets hit. I feel that is a good sign that he can learn lol.

I noticed that too. He may still get a late hit, but that risk is always there no matter what. But I do believe he is a bit safer doing what he did yesterday.
